Three of this century’s most recognizable pop icons are hitting the big five-oh this summer, to the chagrin of gen-x’ers and amusement of many others. What’s difficult to ignore is not just how closely their birthdays occur, but their eerie proximity to the Great Lakes.
Maybe there’s something in the water.
This month’s shirt is looking sharp in asphalt gray, with Madonna, Prince, and Jacko’s heads in golden-yellow emerging out of the Great Lakes area. Birthdays are tucked under the respective stars to aid the understanding of this sensational event.

I donned this shirt for a night out and got a lot of curious people asking me about it. Most of the comments were along the lines of “is that really news that needs to be disseminated via t-shirt?” but a lot of people were more surprised by the map, one girl was said “I thought Madonna was like sixty, but I had no idea she was from Detroit! That’s nuts!”
I just received (and wore) this shirt the other day. Great design! I received many looks from the co-workers. :)
